A little over a week ago we celebrated
my sons' birthday with a little
family barbecue...
Because both sons are such avid outdoorsmen
and hunters...
My amazing daughter-in-love surprised us all
with this incredible "woodsman's" cake!
It was so adorable!
She is just so talented...she even made her
own fondant!
And to top it all off...
the center was "hunter plaid!"
Even younger brother, Samuel,
kept in theme...
sporting his new "woodsman's beard!"
What a blessed afternoon
with family gathered all around...
Dad and brother, Daniel, look on
as Joshua admires the new blades for his mower...
And then it was cake time...
My chocolate "wacky" cake
seemed a little dull next to the tree stump!
(smile)
But at least it gave both birthday boys
their own candles to blow out!
Family all together...
Wrapped in the Saviour's Love...
eating, laughing, celebrating...
with more surprises to come!
Who could "axe" for anything more?
" ...but as for me and my house,
we will serve the LORD.”
Joshua 24:15
