The Calm Before "The Storm..."

As we "batten down the hatches"
in preparation for a visit from "Sandy"
later this afternoon...

A Memorial to the local fishermen "lost at sea..."

 Our thoughts and prayers
are with the many folks
who will be "touched" by
this horrific storm...

And, as always,
our faith is
in the One who
"calms the seas..."

"And he arose, and rebuked the wind,
 and said unto the sea,
Peace, be still.
And the wind ceased,
and there was a great calm."
Mark 4:39

  1. Laura,
As the storm approaches we are remembering and lifting you and many others in our prayers.
May the Lord be a very present help to you and your family.

    In His Love,

  4. Hi, Laura,
I'm so glad to hear you all are OK. :) That was quite a storm! We lost power last night, but got it back this morning.
Your pictures are beautiful! I'm sure the seas can be rough on the fishermen there. How nice to have a memorial for them.
We've been out of school for the last two days, and I think we'll go back tomorrow, but it was a nice little break.
Hope the rest of your week is great! Hugs♥
