| The calm after the storm... |
This morning, we give praise and thanks...
To the One who delivered us from the storm...
But brought the much needed rain.
To the One who calmed the wind...
But brought the cool ocean breeze to lower the temperatures.
How can we help but worship a God who takes care of our every need?
God is so good.
"It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To show forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night..." Psalm 92:1-2
"For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker." Psalm 95: 3-6
"Then He arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm." Matthew 8: 26
Praise the Lord that you are ok! I have been thinking about you and praying! I was sitting on my back porch thinking about you this morning! :o) I hope that you have had a blessed weekend!

ReplyDeleteYou are just too sweet. Thank you so much for your prayers. We were ever so grateful this morning to see the sun come up...we had a very bad storm at the beginning of the summer...it did a lot of damage...and we were so thankful that last night was not a repeat of that storm. Tonight is so calm...just a gentle cool breeze...God is so good.

I am so glad that you and your family are doing just fine! I was also going about my day yesterday, remembering you and your dear ones. The storm passed us completely here in the mountains. We did get rain and wind...but nothing like you must have seen.
