"I have asked him of the Lord..."

Twenty-one years ago...
on his Grammie's birthday...
our "answered prayer" was born...
And we named him "Samuel..."

Last photo and coloring with Gram...just before she went home to be with the Lord...

From the very start...
We all knew what he would grow up to be...

With his long legs always
sticking out from under someone's vehicle...

It was no surprise that he would become
a lead mechanic at
one our local dealerships...

One of the youngest racers at Winterport dragway...

So with loved ones all around...
we celebrated...

Laughing, reminiscing, eating!!!

Blowing out the 21 candles of his "ice cream" cake!

Opening gifts...

The youngest of the three special "blessings..."
that the Lord entrusted to us...
The answer to our long awaited prayers...

"Wherefore it came to pass,
when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived,
that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel,
saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD..."
I Samuel 1:20

Happy 21st birthday, dear Samuel...
We love you so...

  1. What special memories you shared! Hard to believe that 21 years can go by so fast! Our oldest will be 20 next year and I'm still shaking my head in wonder at where the moments went? What a precious beautiful family you have, and I pray your son's 21st year is very blessed - this special son that the Lord gave to you!
