All Bogged Down...

Joshua runs his own lawn care business...

A "one-man" operation...

This time of year he is incredibly busy...
Most days, he's up and out before dawn..
And doesn't finish up much before dusk.

You can imagine how quickly
Josh can get "bogged down"
when we get several days of rain.

This week...
Josh got "bogged down"
but instead of feeling frustrated...
He was thrilled!

For you see,
One of his customers gave him a
new pair of "Bogg" garden shoes
to wear when he mows!

We are so blessed to live by some of the
nicest people on earth...
 Always looking out for one another.

Makes Josh's longgggg days
just a wee bit easier to handle...

And, of course,
the view from his "job site"
certainly helps, too!

How often do we get "bogged down"
with the stresses of this life...

Too busy to take heed of the many
blessings the Lord bestows upon us...
And forgetting to take the time
to be a blessing to someone else...

a training exercise at the fire station...

 It amazes me...
Despite this being his "busiest" season...
Josh finds time to be a volunteer firefighter.

Of course,
he does find the time
for some relaxation...
every now and then!

"Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
and the young men shall utterly fall:
 But they that wait upon the Lord
 shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with
wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint."
Isaiah 40: 30-31

    1. Thank you so much for your sweet comments, Judy! We thank God each and every day for the blessings He has given us in our three sons. I know you feel the same way about your children and grandchildren.

      God's love is so amazing, Judy...probably because it is completely unconditional. We truly do not deserve it...and yet He continues to blanket us in it each and every day. The thought just overwhelms me...
      Love,
      Laura
